Christy we have alot of squash that was used for canned punkin. Marrow squash. I put up probably close to 20 lbs of it this weekend. I love pumpkin cookies..

We are back to feeding the birds heavily now! Had snow today & boy were the birds at the feeders. Have to go buy about 100 plus lbs tomorrow! We mix our own for them as they hate the millet. I can see em me for it being in the food!

its that time! i got seeds drying every were. seeds in my carry basket just collected, seeds already pk up ready for trades or gifts,,n seeds put up from others. lol seeds seeds seeds! collected some crazy daisys n a few zinnias today. few more wild clematis. im wintersowing this year so gardens should look good next year! anyone else collecting seeds like crazy?

chilly here! i want july back! lol we got our first frost warninng for tonight, i forgot to cover plants so hopin i get up early enough to spray em with water before the sun shines. im not a morning person so thats a big hope!

me me me i quilt!! hee hee. anyone else? right now im working on quilting or tieing the quilts i already made n got lazy with, the tops are so much funner to make this winter im going to do a canning jar quilt. im collecting fabrics now.ive got strawberrys,cherries,orderd corn,berries,tomatoes, n peppers. ill get more when my order comes in. hubs may regret showing me how to do his e-bay thing lol.

We have been non-smokers now for a year & a week. Thinking back at how much time we wasted on oh say smoking & then you have to wash your hands before going back to the garden. You can quit Sonya..think of all the money you will save by giving it up? Cold turkey isnt bad..that is the way I have quit 3 times now.

Nate and I are working on quitting....tough to do! Don't think either of us would do well with cold turkey! Christy, I totally agree about the night time bike rides!!!
