We have several apple trees. Wild raspberries, and wild blueberries. I'd like to start a raspberry, blueberryand strawberry patch. I would love to be able to make jams and jellies with my homegrown fruit!

Hello, little Chicken farmer here.
Somebody say fruit.
I planted a small plum orchard last year *8 trees, we also have Peach trees *8 of them.
We also have blackberrys, strawberrys, and muscadines.
I love to grow melons and canalopes.

I love making jellies, hard to say which is my favorite. When we got this property it was an abandoned field. Other than a wooded area that had way to many trees that we thinned out. I discovered I had native huckleberries, mayhaw and plum trees. I have added Santa Rosa Plum, a red leafed plum (don't know the name), Mayhaw (before I knew we had them already), Blueberry, grapes, blackberries-wild.
I think I'd have to say I like the huckleberry jelly the best, then the plum. Although mayhaw is hard to beat. Ah heck I likem all. trudy

Wife bought 2 blue berry bushes again. Babied last years but think they were almost doa. These at least have green leaves on em. Dug a fair size hole and put beat in em like directions said but the first died. Ya think I can use the same holes again?
