Pfffttt....THAT spring went by fast, LOL. We had really goofy weather here in spring and all summer as far as garden weather goes. It's cooler now.

Is the first day back at posting to bring the forum back to life! It was a strange summer I think for everyone. I am almost happy fall is here. Cooler weather which I can tolerate way better then the heat! We are in the midst of a huge tomato harvest, also peppers. So we shall be busy for a while. Yay at least we will have some home grown produce in our pantry for the winter.

Laura, looks like a slow start on the forum re-start thing. I got the email, I'm assuming lots of others did also. Had to dig for the password. I use firefox which will save passwords but that just makes it too easy to forget them, lol.

I'm guessing you mean a pile of brush, etc. and not a pile of apple pie filling, LOL.

Today is...another rainy day here is Z6 TN. I was gonna sit outside for a while, but it turned colder too. Tomorrow might be a little better on both counts. Then if'n I reeely get bored I can go to walmart and fight the crowds- maybe not. Probably won't go there till mid-January.

Today is Wednesday, the last one before Christmas. GF has plans to go out and find a large spiral-cut ham. I think I got all the trimmings a couple days ago, but the ham selection is her and DD's traditional thing. We'll probably have about 12 for dinner, big crowd for me. I like all the food and will bake a couple things myself, since I got much of my co-ordination back after that last bout with the anemia. I tell you, it was comical to watch, I could make a sammich in 20 minutes and get mayo on everything within 3-4 feet, much better now. As far as the gift-giving, I confine mine to the smaller kids, most of them not even blood kin but they really get into destroying some wrapping paper, LOL. Merry Christmas one and all!
