I have worked full time outside of the home for the last 20 years. But, I do not plan on going right back to work after this move. I hope to wait til May or June and then only work part time. And then I hope to go back to school in the fall...we'll see...

I don't work outside the home. I'd like to get into a homebusiness,I just haven't found one yet. I do care for two of my grandbabies everyday. One comes at 5:30am til 8:30am,on M, T, Th. On Wed, I have her from 5:30am till 4:30pm. Then the other grandbaby comes M-Sun. 5:30pm til midnight, sometimes I have 1-2 days off, mostly on a tuesday and a Friday.,bt not regular hours.

MKG, I just bought into Mary Kay. I am hoping it will be a way for me to become acquainted with women folk when I get moved. If not, I use the product myself, so I will get a good discount on it, if nothing else. But, in talking with the director, you really can make some money at it if you're willing and interested to put in some effort! Let me know if you are interested. I will be happy to hook you up!

Thanks Dap! I'll keep that in mind! my daughter wants me to get into "Arbonne" anyone ever hear of it? I worked in a Glass factory, I've been a childcare Provider(loved that type of work!) I have a 2 year degree in nursing, but that just wasn't for me. Besides Ken said that if I worked while he went to nursing school, I could quit, and stay home. So I took him up on that offer.

I am a freelance writer and I work at home. I clean and cook early then write. when I need a break I clean somemore or play with my grandson who we keep after school M-f from 1230 to 5pm. I do alot of cooking as mom and 2 gkids and hubby are hungry by 6pm. feed them clean kitchen daughter goes home by 630, hubby rests and then I write some more if I feel like it. If not then I read gardening books or some of my favorite mysteries. Does my house stay clean?? well when gardening season is here I let it fall apart as I have so little time. My girls pitch in and help with all the chores and canning. It has a comfotable lived in feel. hehehe

Used to work out of the house for the last 35 plus years, held many jobs of many names, lately I have worked at Boy's group home as a coach. but i'm do for some surgeries this year, neck, shoulder and two of those carpal tunnels, so it looks like I will be home for awhile.
Would like to get into some home based business, just to keep a little cash flow, but everthing i've looked into really looks shaky. tried the e-bay thingy but that has it's quirks.
So I will sit around for awhile and watch the grass grows.... ooops there goes another one... did ya see it.

Golly...its seems like I have always worked, but I didn't go back to work full-time 'til my daughter began school. I started as a radio dispatcher right out of high school. I've been an assembly line worker, a material handler at a distribution center and now I'm the Supervisor of Housekeeping at a small private university. I really like this job (most of the time...except for all the darn paperwok...supposed to be doing paperwork right now, but I'm not). Guess I'd better go do some of it and get it out of the way. I like still being physically able to work...but, there are times when I'd just rather turn over and go back to sleep!!!! Yay...sleep...one of my all time favorite things to do...
