Spring, has not truly showed itself here in Minnesota ... Our plantings are behind, last year, we had peas up and growing...We planted potatoes on April 1st. This morning, it is 22°, with an expected High of 34° It may get warmer, as there is a bright sun shining, trying to pierce through the cold. Meanwhile, the seedlings are doing GREAT, Laura had close to 100% germination on all the seeds she planted.. On the seedling subject, GREENHOUSENormally I put it up on or about April 11th. May get put up sooner this year, the sun has enough power to warm it, and we typically jockey the plants in and out the greenhouse at night for the first week or so anyway... so, as soon as the ground dries, it's going Up... More updates to follow

Well darling...we finally got the heat, in unnatural amounts for this area. It's been a long summer, some rewards, some heartbreak...so goes Minnesota gardening...main thing is we have the pantry and storage full of produce, we have excellent jellies, sauces and good treats all made by You...we, despite the small dose's of disappointment...succeeded...I couldn't have done it, but We...did...I love You...just remember how hard we worked for this food (while WE stare over our toes at the bathroom scale)
