We just go to big city once a month for shopping. Food and what ever and grab some more of my things. !80 mile round trip. I am signed up to go on the senior bus to big city as I have doctor appointment the 15 th. They take you shopping too. We do have time shopping for everything so she wants me to use bus for what I can. Free bus but they pass a jar for money. Not sure but guess tip for the driver. You have to eat down there as you get back real late. Last time dark and 6:30. The have good senior things here. They picked a Mex resturant that day. Or I could get some somewhere else. We will go shopping again when the weather is good.

That sounds like a nice place to live, with the senior bus and all. I should look into it, there might be something like that here. Today (wed) I am looking forward to a quick run into walmart, get a few things. Sometimes I wish I could go and just look a while longer. Rush in and out is not as much fun. It is hard to explain to someone else that when you sit home all the time, you want to go out and NOT always rush right back.

Boys decided I should visit older son. I rode the senior bus to city and Oldest DIL picked me up at old house and took me to their place. That was Thursday and we did some shopping on the thrifts. I did manage to find 4 pair of shoes , slip ons I can wear for everyday. $2 each. Got one brand new dress for $3 and it fits and is sleeveless dress with a long jacket. I hope will hide my fat tummy. Got a $2 small heavy blanket to use on the bus when cold. I did not not buy much and did not see any walking shoes. I only buy if like new. I did buy 6 trash bags of rags as on sale at 1/3 the reg price. He will need before too long and I will cut one of these days in to mechanic rags. I get hay fever there or what ever. I had told ytopunger son I could not afforfd the trip. 80 miles to my old place and 75 more miles to theirs. Son drove me back up and younger son came and got me. Ipaid the gas and some meals.

They ended up going shopping yesterday and I did not take money along to shop or take check book. Was a senior bus trip to Colo National Monument. Picnic there. They furnish food. I need to drop $2.50 at the senior center. Least I presume we pay there and I will rather or not. Fried chicken, potato salada nd fruit one and cookies and banana and drink. I had water. I was stuffed. Windy eating out but we made it. Tables had a cover over them. Later on bus I was given and cookie and offered one from Linda who bought some. And grapes. I turned down then asked for just three and she gave me more and I ate. I should not eat grapes. Got home about 5.
Some shopped at the vistor center and they had high prices and I did not buy anything there. Then afterwards they went shopping at some stores. Guess I will learn. I had taken my jacket in case and such in my bag. Half went to sleep on the bus come back I do think. Very quiet. Was not as many yesterday as the trip to Dinosaur Monument. None from the other town.
