I see so little action on this board that I many times just scan down the left side to see if anyone else has posted and move on without saying anything. Unless someone says something soon I will log out and concentrate on other things. Sorry to have to be like that.

I am here but not been posting. Getting my head hit has taken time to get over it. Been 2 months now.

So sorry to hear you're still dealing with that. I was hoping it was more superficial, I guess.

I still feel in the neck and shoulders yet. Tightened muscles. I felt it on the bus trip yesterday. Dr said being on warfarin made it worse. I really hit hard. Dr said back and front of is thick takes a lot.

I hadn't thought about it but having a blood-thinner in your system could aggravate almost any injury, making internal bleeding worse. It being out of sight could be bad too. Hopefully you won't have any more falls and gradually you'll feel better. That's my biggest thing to avoid, falls. Fall when no one is here all day and I could be starring in my own commercial.....fallen and can't get up! I just have to be extra careful. Can't do too much at one time, I get tired out too quick, more likely to trip, etc. Colorado, I'm glad to see you posting. Wish we had a few more that would come out of the shadows and not just read, SAY something We'd love to hear what y'all have to say.

I have to go back Monday for another blood test. Little low on thinner. Why dropping?
Lady across from me here fell but she said it was a stroke more than falling. My son she said saw her laying out in the yard. Can happen. Kids think me carrying a cell phone I can call them. Lot of times one can not call anyone. I walked a mile today and yesterday. I can not of course feel the blood thinner. I can feel low B/P and watch it better getting up.

Yeah, cell phones are sketchy here sometimes. Small town and few towers. I have a cheap walmart phone too, but I don't want to change the number to get a new one and this particular one they say I can't keep my number. Had it so long and seldom use it, it's got 4,000-something minutes built up, lol. I have to pay every 2 months just to keep it so somebody MIGHT call and I can make one or two calls a week. Pain in the patootie but have you tried to find a payphone lately? Not around here.

Kids pay for this cell phone and I do not make calls on it. I have reg phone with long distance. Don't remember seeing a pay phone in this town. Down home it was down to outside one at the store. I had to use to call the phone company when phone was out. They think if I get sick or such I can call them and they do not have to bother to check on me.
