Delicious cottage pie 500g Minced Beef 4 Cloves Garlic 2 Large onions A little vegetable oil 2 Oxo cubes Generous amount of Worchestershire sauce a table spoon of sugar 1 lb potatoes milk and butter for mash I came up with this by mistake whilst half way through making bolognaise before i added tomatoes i tried it and changed my mind and made cottage pie give it a try. First get a saucepan realy hot then add the vegetable oil,add the garlic (chopped really small), onions(finely chopped) and sugar until golden. Next add the mince and cook until brown, then turn down the heat and add the two oxo cubes and worchestershire sauce and simmer. Whilst this is simmering boil the potatoes to death then drain and mash with as much mulk and butter as you like. Then put the mince into a dish and put the mash on top and if you want to grate some cheese on top and put in the oven on 190oC gas mark 5/6 until the potato is browned, sreve with lots of fresh veg.
