They grow fields of it here, image our clothes growing in a field. I finally found some brown fiber seeds I plan on growing this year just for the fun of it. Trudy

I am so happy to hear that my cotton seeds are growing for you. When I sent you those in that seed swap a couple of years ago I wasn't sure if you'd actually be able to get them growing or not...you must have a green thumb Laura:)

3 of the Cotton seed's made it out-door's..they are about a foot tall right now. I have them planted up close to the house in a pretty warm spot. They seem to like it there. The biggest one will be going to the County Fair here in mid August. I will dig it up & pot it then bring it home & re-plant it..

The Cotton is about 2 foot tall & still doing well. Think it likes the heat we have been having..Been in the 90's for 20 day's or more now..

The one plant I dug up did not do well. Put it back in the ground & the Bolls are still hanging on..but it looks dead. The other 2 plants are doing very well. They have several cotton bolls on them & are still flowering. We may have to put up a mini green house to protect it when it gets cooler..all I am hoping for is the bolls to mature eneough to get seeds for next year..
