Coleus I think are pretty tender. I use to have some in the house. Easy to root and start more plants.
We got some snow last night. Sidewalk and street bare. Son had said we could get rain and I told him snowing in Salt Lake and he said we could get snow then too. We are not too far from Utah line here.
My tomato seeds are up and few yet to come up. May have got them a bit deeper. 15 kinds and just few of each to get a plant and few more of the main crop type. No small type although some early one are not very big. I saved some milk jugs to cut off to transplant in to. Thought maybe get some foam cups to transpant into. I did not get mine up here. All he grabbed was little trays. so no big pans. I do not like peat pots but okay if set in pan and all filled. They dry out too bad. I can do paper ones . Good for melons and cukes but I do not have my square bottle here to make them. I would have to do round, I do not have paper cutter here either and but few I would need I can do. You plant paper and all like a peat pot. I can get cheap foam cups up to the dollar store I think. I have a box of odds and ends of peat pots down home. I need a shed, and I can not do thing about it till he gets his shed out of the yard, when? He has to tear down old one and get cement pad run and then move it. Right now I pile on the open back porch. Not good. Things will get done in time.
Suppose to be volunteers that will take you to the C garden to work. I do not like depending on others. I was using public bus system down there for some things. But I could drive to Dr., store and such in the town. Yes, I am licensed and insured.
Still 3 tomatoes varieties not up. Red Rocket, Early Wonder and Fireworks. All small early. So not too bad with what came up. Got to be transplanted in something bigger. If I set in cups I could give away extras but I doubt they would count that volunteering. Could not get them down there any way.
It is snowing now. Weather report was just cloudy today. I have the chicken on to boil. 2 back pieces and 2 wings and that will do me at least 4 days. Are not small. I save backs and wing for soup and had fried the rest a while back. I need to use it up. Got a couple more bags of it. I am trying to use up stuff. As needed of couse. Clean out and restock it. So have a little variety.
I take 2 iburprofen a day for arthritis and so far keeps it from flarng up. I can not have aspirin what so ever or in anything. No alcohol either. I do not drink so that does not matter. SAt was too close to my evening one to take any and it has to be factored in so the diet stuff. Yesterday by noon I had to have something and so took one after I ate. I had 3. They do affect the warfarin it says on my pills list. The doctor gave me my choice of a few things I could take. Long as two a day I can stand it fine. I decided to take just one extra to get through the Sunday and thought it would not hurt me. I would not want to to do that every day. I may take one after I eat at noon today. Depends on how bad I feel. I would never take any of it on empty tummy.
